New American Castle Museum Donates Specialized Training For Springfield Police Department

Officers will Attend Front Sight Firearms Training Institute in Las Vegas, Nevada

The Board of Directors of The New American Castle Museum, Inc. have donated two $2,000 Firearms Training Certificates with Front Sight Firearms Training Institute to the Springfield Police Department.

Sergeant Delaney of the Springfield Police thanked the Museum’s Board of Directors for the donation and explained, “The continued and constant training of Police Officers is extremely important to the protection of citizens of Springfield. Constant training keeps the department and its officers professional. With funds lacking for specialized training the department suffers”.
Front Sight Firearms Training Institute, (www.frontsight.com) located in Las Vegas, Nevada, was founded by Dr. Ignatius Piazza in 1996, and is considered the top firearms training institute in the world.

“Law enforcement professionals have a very tough job and we support their efforts to receive the best possible training,” says Kim Baker, philanthropist and Director of The New American Castle Museum. “Our Board Members looked into all training options available and Front Sight clearly has the finest and most comprehensive training available today.  We are delighted that the Springfield Police Department will be able to benefit from the excellence that Front Sight offers,” adds Baker.
